Great Wall Of China

The Great Wall of China is one of the most impressive places on Earth to visit and I've been.
I still can't quite believe that I got to walk on something so iconic and so well known across the globe. It's truly an incredible thing to see and place to visit, something I've always dreamt of seeing and now I can call it a memory of mine.

I've been home from Asia for 4 weeks now and I definitely miss it out there, I'm going to have to head back some day. It's so different to the UK but in a good way of course as both the culture and the history are fascinating!
I saw so much in Beijing but the wall was definitely one of the best parts of the trip, especially as I was able to toboggan back down it!
It's taken me a while to get myself sorted with the pictures I took with my Nikon out there, with work and daily life generally getting in my way but alas, here they finally are! :)
I hope you like them.

All photos taken by me, using Nikon D3300. Please credit if used.

The part of the wall that we visited was called Mutianyu.
This is a quieter part of the wall for tourists to visit and also has the toboggan slide to take back down to the bottom, something I would highly recommend doing if you're a bit of an adrenaline junkie like myself (please note that I visited out of season, so tourists were fewer).
I'd honestly go back here in a heart beat.
